How RentFlex.ng works

RentFlex.ng verifies properties, screens tenants, ranks leads, and helps negotiate flexible monthly rent terms where landlords agree. Here is the process for each side.

For tenants

  • Search verified rentals — browse homes and spaces checked for location, price and availability.
  • Complete screening — submit ID, income details, rental history and prior-landlord reference where available.
  • Make a monthly offer — RentFlex.ng helps negotiate flexible payment terms with the landlord or agent.
  • Sign and pay safely — approved tenants sign digitally and pay through the platform.

Flexible monthly terms are subject to tenant screening, landlord approval, and property eligibility. RentFlex.ng does not lend money or pay landlords upfront automatically.

For landlords and agents

  • List property free — submit details, photos, price, location and availability.
  • RentFlex.ng verifies the listing — we check key details before showing the property to serious renters.
  • Receive screened leads — ranked by ID, income, rental history and references.
  • Accept the best offer — the landlord or agent stays in control and decides whether to accept monthly terms.

Tenant screening grade

Every tenant lead is ranked A–E from verified ID, income, rental history and references — so landlords and agents can evaluate offers at a glance.

A
Strong profile Verified ID, strong income, good rental history, positive reference.
B
Good profile Verified ID, stable income, acceptable rental history.
C
Needs support May require a guarantor, higher deposit, or landlord-specific approval.
D
High risk Weak income proof, incomplete documents, or poor rental history.
E
Not recommended Failed screening or major verification concerns.

Tenant grading helps landlords evaluate offers quickly. It is an internal decision-support tool — not a legal credit rating — and does not guarantee approval.
